Good Morning to everyone,
I feel sad today in saying goodbye to a dear friend and work colleague of my husbands who at the same time as Darrel has been dealing with his throat/tongue cancer Brian had been trying to win the battle with lung cancer. Unfortunately after treatment for his lung, it then spread to Kidneys and bone. The last 3 weeks have been the hardest for him but he tried so hard. Luckily he was able to attend his son Wedding in March, this was the first Wedding for him in his little family. Brian had been very lonely for the last 10 years of his life with no-one special to share it with him and yet it was such a nice man. Our children also thought the world of him. We couldn't bring ourselves to tell him that Darrel was finally in Remission because he was going down so fast and we just couldn't find the words, we loved him alot and I just pray he will find some happiness wherever he has not gone. If you could just take a moment to say a prayer for his 2 sons and daughter in-law to help them at this time, all a special thought would be lovely as well. Many thanks Tracey

Hi Tracy, Sorry to hear the bad news its so hard when someone dies and the people they leave behind, Also other with Cancer thinking my turn next?

Thanks Paul, it does make you think about what you are going through and your outcome. We will miss Brian's weekly phone calls for a chat on how he was going and how Darrel is going. One thing is for sure we have to enjoy life as much as we can while we can.

mm well it took me 6 years to work that one out and I am still struggling with it
