i feel completely devastated by this news. i have only been a member of the site for a short while but brenda was one of the first people to lend me support and she gave me such early inspiration as she was treated at the same hospital as me. i wanted to come on the site today and announce my personal goal of getting just over half way with my chemo/RT but that seems just so insignificant now. Like most response's to this news, I am devastated as I write this reply tears are running down my face. Brenda was such a inspiration to Dave as he went through his dark days last year.

Just can't say how sorry and sad this makes me feel. Although I didn't have much direct contact with Brenda, she always came across as a very warm, kind person with great courage.

I have received the sad news that Brenda passed away peacefully this morning amongst her family and friends. She was uplifted by the messages posted above that John read to her. She thanked you all for thinking of her.

Its sad when one passes away but worse when someone you know does. We all knew Brenda and the wonderful lady she was and we will all miss her. One thing I am glad though is that she has gone to a better place where there is no illness, no pain but just peace.
