do i live a life of "if only's"? no. every day has been a worthy day. a good day. a bad day. but nevertheless a worthy day. as long as i am here, today will be another memorable day. when we are young we do not have the privilege of such thoughts. but as we slow down, our values change as our perception of life changes. why worry about the leak in the shower screen when it is so much more pleasant to sit and inhale the scent of the jasmine?

we have been so brainwashed to carry out our responsibilities that it is difficult to drag ourselves from that mindset. the wonders of freedom. the dropping of the shackles that imprison us. not just the body but the mind as well. all the things that we have done. and not done. that we can do now. or not. the limitations of the fragile body. the infinite mind that eventually has to succumb to the limits of life.
