When I initiate PMs or threads and neglect to enter a subject, I receive an error message telling me that I need a subject - and the system deletes everything I'd put in the body of the message form! To add further insult, the subject line doesn't even have a label - perhaps if the word 'Subject' were to the left of the field, I'd get a clue to remember to enter one.

Please see if you can display the error message without deleting the message body.
